Our story...
Hello and welcome to our station a dream of mine that started when I wareas around 7 years old a dream of maybe 1 day being on air, mostly because i have a face for radio. I remember listening to some of favorite dj's and thinking how fun that would be. I cut grass saved my birthday and Christmas money bought a record player and lots and I do mean lots of 45s. It was the music that really drove me to want be on air. Every morning I would wake up and pretend i was on air and play the music my poor brother he was in the room also. many years later i got my chance to be on air several radio stations in the late 80s and early 90s wher my last station was here in my hometown of Washington Pa WJPA. I actually was offered an afternoon slot but I could take the job because I had 2 kids and the timing just was not right. So I moved on but my love was always there. Moving ahead to 2011 I saw wher you could start your own internet radio station so on a cold Febuary afternoon in 2012 FM 7 The Drive was born. I was on the air for several years than I had to take it down for costs. Than in 2016 I found Live365 and my dream was back up and running. Its been a learing curve for me with trung to figure out websites and streaming but when I'm on the mic it's just a dream come true. I have alot of ideas to make the station better so stay tuned especially with AI.
